Happy world baking day!Well, it was actually on 17th but since am still in that celebratory mood,I am sharing an easy banana bread recipe today. Banana bread was my first cake I ever made with the help of my mum, back then I was a teen.The thing I like with banana bread is the rich banana flavor that it gives you which is something that I am going for in today’s recipe, but with a twist of chocolate.
1 and a half cups of all purpose flour
1 teaspoon of baking soda and salt respectively
5 tablespoons of rich cocoa powder
4 ripe bananas
3 tablespoons of vegetable oil and melted margarine/butter
First preheat your oven at 180 degrees for 15 minutes.Mix the flour, cocoa powder, salt and baking soda(dry ingredients) and set aside. In another bowl, mash the 4 bananas with a fork add egg,oil and melted margarine. Make sure everything is well incorporated so well and add dry ingredients to it.Fold the dry ingredients and bake for 35-40 minutes for 170 degrees.
